What's the movie where a woman has to pick between dreams and reality?

I saw a trailer for it years ago, I'm thinking it came out in the
90's. This woman is falling in love with two men, one in her dreams
and one in reality. In the end she has to choose which one to stay
with, though I've no idea how she's supposed to say with a dream...
maybe she has to pick which one is real after all. I know there's a
scene with a house looking over the ocean, maybe somewhere
Mediterranean or just Pacific. Her friends and family tell her she has
to choose... there might be kids involved?
Anyway, any help at all would be amazing. This has been bothering me
for years.
